Our day began at 6:35 this morning as the first team members pulled into the parking lot to load up the vans. The Reagan boys win the prize for earliest teens there. All in all, we were praying and loading the vans by 6:45am and we were on the road minutes afterward. A full trailer, 2 full vans and some sleepy eyed teens packed into the van, and we were off for the North.
The fog lifted off the mountains as we snaked around the mountains on 75, and before we knew it, we were in Indiana picking up our next team member. Ben Herwig met us in just outside of Louisville, KY.
We made good time except for the traffic in Chicago. All in all, God gave us a great day on the road. Beautiful skies, and weather for the whole trip. Saftey, good conversations, singing, games and laughter.
We are ready to get to work tomorrow!
